Iseos Neo+ is ideal for parents:
- who have a baby who is too tall to be installed in the infant carrier anymore (head overtake the top of the shell) and still too small yet to be installed in forward facing car seat (less than 9kg/13kg). Iseos Neo+ is then ideal to continue travelling rearward facing until approx. 15 months (13 kg) to offer the best protection of the fragile head and neck of the baby
- who are looking for a long lasting baby car seat for the growing baby (for parents who don't need a infant carrier to install on the stroller, or for the second car)
- who dont' have a car equipped with ISOFIX

Are adapters available to install my infant car seat on a pushchair or buggy?
For some Bébé Confort car seats, adaptors are available separately for use on a pram and/or pushchair. We recommend taking your car seat and pram to your retailer to check whether adapters are available.
From what age can the support pillow be removed from the Bébé Confort infant car seat?
The support pillow provides your child with added comfort right after birth. There is no specific age at which the support pillow should be removed from the Bébé Confort car seat. This depends on the size of your child. Once you notice that your child is no longer lying comfortably because his or her head is lying on the ‘roll’, you can remove the support pillow from the Bébé Confort car seat.
How long can I use the Bébé Confort car seats without a break when travelling by car?
This is subject to a lot of misunderstanding. This is generally said and written out of concern for babies and, in a nutshell, boils down to the fact that a baby car seat such as e.g. a Bébé Confort Pebble should not be used excessively. Children should not lie in a fixed position for too long unnecessarily. They must be given the opportunity to develop their motor system and arm, back and neck muscles. As manufacturers of the first car seat for babies in Europe, we have of course been including this in our instructions for many years. So do not place a baby in his or her seat for the entire day for reasons of convenience, but give him or her the opportunity to develop. This also applies to front pack carriers and all other products in which a baby sits, hangs or lies in a stationary position. However, this will not be a problem at all if you need to make a relatively long car journey or holiday trip once in a while. Our advice is as follows: stop once every 2 hours. After all, the baby must also eat and be cleaned on a regular basis.
When should my child switch from his first Bébé Confort infant car seat to the next car seat?
We recommend that your child remain in the first car seat, Group 0 or 0+ (0-13 months) i.e. facing backwards, as long as possible because this is the safest and usually the most comfortable position. As long as the back of your child's head is fully supported by the plastic shell, we recommend using the infant car seat. The length of the child’s legs is not an important factor here. It is extremely unwise to put a child into a larger, forward-facing car seat too early.
Why do babies have to travel in a reward facing position?
Babies have a large and heavy head compared to the rest of their body. In addition, their neck muscles are not yet fully developed. If the baby is transported in a forward-facing position, his or her head will be thrown forward in the event of a head-on collision. This can cause serious neck injury and may even be fatal. By placing the baby in a rear-facing position, the forces exerted during the crash will be distributed across the baby’s entire back.
My child climbs out of the belt system on the car seat.
The same principle applies to all car seats and means that your child cannot create extra space if there is no extra space to begin with. Some children have shown us that, with only a minimum of slack in the belt system, they can get a hand between the buckle and their stomach and then, by moving it towards their head, they can get an elbow under the belts – but this requires a very flexible shoulder. These children display a tremendous desire to free themselves from their car seat. Child safety in the car and freedom of movement are not compatible in principle. To transport a child not only safely but also comfortably, a slight amount of slack in the belt system is needed. If the belt is pulled extremely tightly and the child is sitting calmly in the car seat, experience has taught us that all car seats are the same when it comes to 'climbing out of the car seat'. We see a similar pattern in children ages 1-4 years in car seats of various types and from various manufacturers. The belt system is a closed system that keeps the child in the same position continuously - during normal car trips as well as during a sudden stop or accident. This system is closed by securing the child when tightening the belts. If this is done properly, the belts cannot be loosened during use (if this does happen, we ask that you contact our Service Department through the retailer where you bought the product).
The belts are not the same length. Why is this?
Uneven belts may be caused by the incorrect guiding of the harness system. Check at the back of the car seat that the belts are not twisted and that the pull belt (that runs forward at the bottom of the shell) is in the middle of the system. Also check that the belt can move easily to and fro through the shoulder openings. For smooth movement, the belt buckle should be flapped forward completely. This belt buckle operates by releasing the belt tensioner. If the problem continues after you have checked this, consult your retailer.
What should I do if my child opens the buckle on his or her harness belt?
In this case, we recommend, as do all international safety experts, that you stop immediately in a safe place, fasten the buckle once more and tell the child not to open it and the reason for this. It is always a possibility that an inventive, handy or strong child will open the buckle. If the force required to open the buckle were to be considerably increased to make it impossible for the child to open it himself, this would be contrary to the legal safety standards. The position of the buckle, the colour of the button, and the operating or opening force are all laid down in European standards. In the case of an accident, someone providing assistance without any knowledge of car seats must be able to see immediately how to release the child from a car seat in an emergency.
When the buckle is open, I can no longer lengthen the harnesses, as if they are stuck. What's the problem?
This may happen because the belt buckle is not flapped forward enough. Pushing this forward by hand will release the blockage, so that you can loosen the harnesses.
Is it possible to mount my car seat (Group 1) onto the frame of my pushchair?
This is not possible with our current range of products. Our products are developed with a strong focus on safety, quality and user-friendliness. The combination you are asking about would require that we make concessions to these three aspects. We have decided against making such concessions at this time.
For groups 1 or groups 2/3, should I deactivate the airbag if I install the car seat on the front seat ?
Can I recline Iséos Néo+ in rearward facing?
In rearward facing, Iséos Néo+ has a unique recline position. This natural recline has been designed to offer best protection to the child in case of collision. It is therefore important to have this fixed position. For extra comfort, a newborn cushion is included to offer an optimal recline. Nevertheless, all cars are different, and the car seat may be positionned too upright if the vehicle seat has a deep angle. You may adjust the vehicle seat recline if possible or fill the seat hole without changing the car seat belt routing.
How long can I place my baby rearward facing in the Iséos Neo+?
Iséos Neo+ has been tested to be used rearward facing until 13kg. With this large seat, you can install comfortably your baby until approximatly 15months, and even more if he weights less than 13kg. Of course, Iséos Neo+ can be used from birth, but is also perfect car seat to use right after a safety carrycot or an infant carrier, when the baby is not fitting anymore in these baby seats, but still need to be installed rearward facing for a longer time. Looking at the car seat regulation, you can install the baby from 9kg in forward facing, but we recommand to keep your baby until 13kg in rearward facing.
The Iseos Neo Plus, when installed in rearward postion, moves laterally. Is it safe for my child?
The Iseos NeoPlus car seat is also safe when the seat moves during normal use. The extra movement is a result of the fitting of the seat in the specific interior of the car combined with the seat belt , which may vary in length in normal use.In case of an accident or emergency break, the seat belt of the car automatically blocks putting the car seat directly in a stable position and will absorb the forces to protect the child. The situation is similar during side impact. When the car seat is fastened correctly with the car belt, the seat will never tilt over. In our extensive testing protocol on our specialized crash test track we test our car seats extensively in all different situations.
When can I switch Iséos Neo+ from rearward facing to forward facing?
According to the car seat regulation, you can use Iséos Neo+ in forward facing position (group 1) from 9kg (around 9 months), but we strongly recommand you to keep your child rearward facing until 13kg (approximatly 15 months) to better protect the baby's fragile head and neck in case of accidents.
