How long can I use the Bébé Confort car seats without a break when travelling by car?
This is subject to a lot of misunderstanding. This is generally said and written out of concern for babies and, in a nutshell, boils down to the fact that a baby car seat such as e.g. a Bébé Confort Pebble should not be used excessively. Children should not lie in a fixed position for too long unnecessarily. They must be given the opportunity to develop their motor system and arm, back and neck muscles. As manufacturers of the first car seat for babies in Europe, we have of course been including this in our instructions for many years. So do not place a baby in his or her seat for the entire day for reasons of convenience, but give him or her the opportunity to develop. This also applies to front pack carriers and all other products in which a baby sits, hangs or lies in a stationary position. However, this will not be a problem at all if you need to make a relatively long car journey or holiday trip once in a while. Our advice is as follows: stop once every 2 hours. After all, the baby must also eat and be cleaned on a regular basis.

Is it safe to use second-hand car seats?
We advise against purchasing a used car seat. The history of a second-hand car seat is often unknown. In other words, you cannot know for certain how it has been used. Car seats that have been involved in an accident are no longer guaranteed to be safe. The car seat may also be damaged in some other manner or may be incomplete.

We advise to never use a car seat whose history is unknown since it could have been involved in an accident, or have some broken, torn or missing parts. Do not leave the car seat exposed to direct sunlight for long periods and we advise to check the plastic parts regularly for damages or changes in shape or colour.  The expanded polystyrene (EPS) parts of your car seat are important to guarantee the best safety performance. The length of the child’s legs is not an important factor here. It is extremely unwise to put a child into a larger, forward-facing car seat too early.
What are advantages of a 5-point harness?
There are 3 main reasons why Bébé Confort chooses to equip its toddler car seats with a 5-point harness:
1. Crash forces are transferred from the seat to the child’s rigid body parts that can take high loads: shoulders and hips/pelvis bone.
2. Children are secured more firmly and therefore remain in the safest position in the car seat during all types of accidents (frontal or side impacts, but also roll-over accidents).
3. A 5-point harness offers easy adjustment to the growing child and a perfect fit for children of all sizes and shapes.
What are disadvantages of a 5-point harness ?
A disadvantage of a 5-point harness is that some children try to open the harness or try to get their arms out of the safety belt. This is because of the tight installation of the shoulder straps the child has less room to move and sometimes feels uncomfortable.
We advise parents to explain very well to the child why a correct installation is required. Try not to install the child too tightly (1 cm of play of seat belt is allowed). Keeping the child entertained is also an option in order to stop him/her from freeing him or herself.
What can I do if child often escapes from the safety harness ?
Children normally should not be able to escape from the 5-point-harness. Attempt to tighten the harness fast enough (leaving 1 cm of play). If correctly installed, the child should not be able to unleash itself from the safety harness.
What is the chance of a roll-over accident ?
The type of accidents per country differ. According to international research the majority of all accidents are caused by frontal impact. The second biggest risk is side-impact, followed by rear- and roll-over accidents at about 5% of total accidents.
When can we expect results from the international study on safety shields and booster seats
The research report is expected in the summer of 2014 and will be published by the United Nations.
Why can car seats with a safety shield get a high safety score from the STIWA/ADAC test that is used by local consumer associations ?
In the test of STIWA/ADAC a Q-type crash test dummy is used. These dummies do not measure the loads on the weaker lower abdomen area of the body since they do not have sensors in this area. Since this soft part absorbs significant load during the crash test but this load is not measured, the safety score that comes out of the test can be high.
Why does Bébé Confort use a 5-point harness instead of a safety shield ?
A 5-point harness transfers crash forces from the seat to the child’s rigid body parts that can take high loads: shoulders and hips/pelvis bone. Test dummies are equipped with sensors that measure the forces applied to these rigid parts carefully and the limits of the forces that these body areas can withstand have been established. All car seats developed by Bébé Confort are designed so that the forces are optimally distributed and that they remain within these limits.
It is not possible to measure the loads on the soft lower abdomen area, as the current crash test dummies are not equipped with sensors in this areas. Because the forces on the softer parts cannot be measured, Dorel chooses actively to not develop car seats with a restrain system that loads these parts.
Additionally, a 5-point harness makes sure that children remain in the safest position within the car seat (within the protective seat shell) during all types of car crashes and it gives a tailored fit to children of different sizes.
Why has the roll-over test been modified in the car seat legislation ?
A car seat that passed ECE R44-04 legislation showed insufficient restraining capabilities during a simulated roll-over test. Crash tests by UTAC (independent testing organization for the automobile industry) have showed that after two full roll-overs, the dummy was ejected from a car seat with a shield systems. Even if crash tests do not exactly correspond to a real accident, this highlights that there are cases where a risk of ejection exists.
To prevent such ejection from a car seat, a more severe test has been added to the ECE R44-04 legislation in order to better reproduce roll-over crashes. This amendment has been active since December 2013. From now on, any car seat (new or modified) that passes the ECE R44-04 approval process will also have passed this stricter roll-over test.
Why have the crash test dummies no sensors in the soft abdomen area ?
The technology has not yet advanced to such a degree that sensors can be added in this abdomen area part. The United Nations has assembled a Task Force consisting of international experts to conduct a research study that focusses on the measurement of the forces on the abdomen and deformations of the chest of the child by developing new sensors for the crash test dummies. Their objective is also to establish injury limits for the abdomen area and assess the overall risks for children.
Why is there no 5-point-harness in the infant carrier (group 0+) ?
The restrained system for infant carriers, also known as group 0+, has a different set of requirements as these seats are solely used as rearward facing seat.
Bébé Confort applies 3-point-harnesses in all its group 0+ car seats because it keeps the baby exactly in the safest position, is easier to tighten and allows to get the baby in and out of the car seat more easily. Both ADAC and Bébé Confort internal tests show that as infants travel in a rearward facing position the loads of an accident are mainly transferred to the shell of the car seat, and the remainder is spread over the shoulder webbing. The main purpose of the 3-point-harness is to keep the child inside the protective shell of the seat; inside the safest position. Additionally, a 3-point-harness is easier to tighten then a 5-point-harness since there is less friction of the belt in the tongue. As an effect, the chances are higher that the baby is secured tight enough.

Why does the Bébé Confort 2wayFix need a support leg?
This support leg serves several functions. The support leg prevents the car seat from rotating (tipping) in the event of an accident. If the support leg is not used, the car seat may be pushed so deep into the seat of the car during a front-end collision that the child will be thrown forward and may even hit the front seat or dashboard. The support leg is equipped with an indicator that shows whether the installation is correct.

The 2wayFix base with the 2wayPearl car seat comply with i-Size, and in this new legislation dimensions of support legs are described in detail in order to provide an even better fit with cars. Together with car manufacturers these dimensions have been defined, and i-Size legislation will make sure that new i-Size car seats fit perfectly in future i-Size compliant cars. Since the 2wayFix base allows a rearward facing toddler car seat on it (with a child until 105 cm or approx. 18kg rearward facing), it has to withstand different and significantly higher forces in accidents. Much more weight is being exposed to this base in accidents, and therefore the product is strengthened in many different aspects.
Why the Bébé Confort AxissFix is not suitable from birth ?
The Bébé Confort AxissFix is a toddler car seat, designed to be used right after a safety carrycot (group 0) or an infant carrier (group 0+). Suitable for toddlers from 61cm length (approx. 4months), the seat is not adapted for new born babies. This choice has been done according to the new i-Size (R129) regulation which has more demanding safety criteria, especially in frontal & lateral impact, and which make hardly impossible to offer the highest level of protection for new born as for toddler in one unique seat. To reach this high demanding safety criteria, and not compromise with comfort, AxissFix has been designed for toddlers from 61cm and not from birth.
Why the classification on the Bébé Confort AxissFix is now in length indication (cm) and not in weight (kg)?
The Bébé Confort AxissFix complies with the new i-Size (R129) regulation, and this change is part of i-Size. It is done in order to make it easier for parents to choose the right car seat for their child, and thereby minimize premature up-sizing of the car seat. The size will now be the new reference to choose the correct car seat. Nevertheless, weight are still taken in account as i-Size regulation also mentions that weight of the car seat + weight of the child should not overtake 33kg. Consequently, AxissFix car seat is suitable toddlers from 61 to 105cm length, and maximum 19kg weight.
Why there is a measuring scale (blue/red label) on the Bébé Confort AxissFix cover ? How to read it ?
This measuring scale is an informative label to help you to know when it could be time to switch from rearward facing to forward facing. In a daily basis, it's not easy to know the exact size of your growing baby, and you may want to install quickly your child in forward facing because it's easier to see you child. Nevertheless, you child should not place before at least 15months in forward facing. The goal of this label is clearly to avoid babies to be installed too early in forward facing position. By adjusting the headrest, you will see if the seat has still to be installed rearward facing (blue color) or can be installed forward facing (red color). Of course, it's an indicator, but you should always check if your child measure more than 76cm, and has more than 15 months before installing the seat in forward facing position.

Can I install an Isofix seat in another car that doesn't have the Isofix system ?
How to find the location of the Top Tether anchorage ?
Unfortunatly, there is no standard location for Top Tether anchorages in the car. Most often, this anchorage is located in the boot, just behind the rear seats. Now most of the new cars models identify this anchorage with a Top Tether label, where you can see a drawing of a car seat with anchor at the back. To help your to find this anchorage, we invite you to go on our online car fitting list, select your car, and we will show you in which area is located this anchorage. This list is not complete but is regularly updated for your convenience. If you have any douts, or if you don't find the information, please look at the car instruction manual. Be carefull, some anchorages are made to attach a lugagge mesh and are not strong enough to attach the top tether.
I do not have IsoFix anchor points in my car. Can I have them installed?
This is usually not possible because the IsoFix anchors are almost always installed during production in the factory and are attached to the chassis of the car. However, there are a number of car makes that have been offering the IsoFix system for a number of years as an “option”. In these cars, the assembly points for the anchors are already integrated into the bottom of the car body. Audi and Volvo, for example, offer this option. Talk to your car dealer for more information.
How can I install Iséos Isofix car seat in my car ?
The Iséos Isofix has been designed to be installed either with the 3 point belt or with Isofix system (2 Isofix anchors + 1 Top Tether). Of course, the best way to install the car seat remains the Isofix system as it’s easier, safer, and less chance of misuse compared to belt installation, where the best routing can go wrong or the belt can not be well tense. If your car is equipped with isofix, we recommand you to install this seat with the isofix system.
How to ensure a correct Top Tether installation ?
What is key is to always check the Top Tether is correctly tight. An green indicator on the Top Tether is ensuring the correct tension. To obtain the best tension of the Top Tether, you should look for the shorter routing, going directly from the top of the car seat to the Top Tether hook (often located on the luggage compartment)We recommend to remove the headrest to avoid deviate the top tether routing from this shorter route, and consequently ensure a very tight installation in any situations.Installing the top tether in between the headrest or on top of the headrest can deviate his natural routing, and be less efficient in case of impact.
I have a Bébé Confort FamilyFix base and Bébé Confort Pearl. Do the Bébé Confort next stage car seats Rodi XP or Air Protect fit onto the base?
No, they do not. With Group 2/3 car seats such as the Rodi XP or Air Protect, children are secured in the seat using the car seat belt, making it unnecessary to attach the seat to a base.
I notice that there is some play between the Pearl and the FamilyFix. Is this safe?
To ensure that the Pearl can always easily be installed onto the FamilyFix, there must be some space between the spindles and hooks. This space is what causes the play. This play does not affect safety in any way whatsoever. You could try to push the FamilyFix more firmly against the back of the car seat. It is also possible in some cars to adjust the back of the car passenger seat. If this is possible, you can adjust the back so that it fits firmly against the Pearl.
Is IsoFix safer than installing with a car seat belt?
If installed properly, a Bébé Confort car seat is the safest in its class also when installed by car seat belt. Child car seats using regular seat belts though are regularly installed and used incorrectly. With ISOFIX the risk of incorrect installation is very small and most car seats with ISOFIX show correct installation with visible indicators. Therefore it is fair to say that ISOFIX car seats are safer then car seats installed by car seat belt.
There is space between the Pearl and the FamilyFix. Is this safe?
The FamilyFix is secured to the bottom of the car body by the two IsoFix anchor points. The left lamp on the indicator panel on the FamilyFix will turn green to confirm that the seat is installed correctly. The strong connection between the two guarantees maximum safety, regardless of any noises you might hear. The Pearl has two sturdy metal spindles on the bottom. The FamilyFix has 4 hooks that are attached to these spindles on the Pearl. Once the 4 hooks are secure around the 2 spindles, the maximum safety of the system is guaranteed. The right lamp on the indicator panel on the FamilyFix will turn green to confirm that the seat is secured correctly. To ensure that the Pearl can always be installed onto the FamilyFix easily in all instances, there must be some space between the spindles and hooks. This space is what causes the slack. This slack does not affect safety in any way whatsoever. The sound that may result from this extra space depends on a number of factors. The shape of the back seat and the installation of the FamilyFix may affect this. You could try to push the FamilyFix more firmly against the back of the car seat. It is also possible in some cars to adjust the back of the car passenger seat. If this is possible, you can adjust the back so that it fits firmly against the Pearl.
What is IsoFix?
ISOFIX is an international standardized fitting system, which provides the safest, easiest and quickest way to install a child car seat correctly without the need of vehicle seat belts. The name ISOFIX stands for ISO (International Standardization Organization) plus FIX (Fixation). ISOFIX car seats make use of two standard attachment points located at the base of the seat, plus an anti-tipping forward device: either a support leg or top tether.
From 2006 all new cars are equipped with ISOFIX, and ISOFIX is also fitted in a large number of car brands built prior to 2006.

When can my child switch from an infant car seat (group 0+) to the Iséos Isofix (group 1) ?
According to the child safety regulation R44/4, you can legally start using a group 1 car seat like Iséos Isofix from 9kg. Nevertheless, we recommand you to keep your baby as long as possible in the infant carrier (until 13kg) as it's safer and more comfortable for him. Installed in rearward facing position, your baby's fragile head and neck will be better protected. If your baby's head is still generously protected by the (top of the) infant carrier, you should continue to use it until 13kg. It not a problem if the child's legs extend beyond the edge of the seat. Then, when the top of his head extend past the top of the infant carrier sheel, and if your baby is weighting more than 9kg (ideal is 13kg), you can now think about installing him in Iséos Isofix.

This support leg serves several functions. The support leg prevents the car seat from rotating (tipping) in the event of an accident. If the support leg is not used, the car seat may be pushed so far into the seat of the car during a front-end collision that the child will be thrown forward and may even hit the front seat or dashboard. The support leg is equipped with an indicator that shows whether the installation is correct. All IsoFix products from Bébé Confort have indicators so that you can immediately see whether the car seat has been installed correctly. The indicators are located on the steel IsoFix anchor points and the support leg: a green colour appears if the support leg is adjusted properly. The IsoFix products from Bébé Confort rank among the very best and safest car seats on the market. Your child is guaranteed optimal safety with our IsoFix products.

The carrying handle is part of the safety concept of Maxi-Cosi infant car seats and must always be placed upright when driving. This also applies when used with the FamilyFix frame. The carrying handle also protects against any large objects that might fly through the air near the child. Once the child is securely fastened in the harnesses, his or her head and arms will not hit the carrying handle in the event of an accident.
The harness’ straps are too short. What can I do ?
The Iseos Neo Plus, when installed in rearward postion, moves laterally. Is it safe for my child?
The Iseos NeoPlus car seat is also safe when the seat moves during normal use. The extra movement is a result of the fitting of the seat in the specific interior of the car combined with the seat belt , which may vary in length in normal use.In case of an accident or emergency break, the seat belt of the car automatically blocks putting the car seat directly in a stable position and will absorb the forces to protect the child. The situation is similar during side impact. When the car seat is fastened correctly with the car belt, the seat will never tilt over. In our extensive testing protocol on our specialized crash test track we test our car seats extensively in all different situations.

When should I remove the support pillow and head hugger from the Bébé Confort CabrioFix?
The support pillow and headhugger are especially designed to offer a perfect fit for small babies. When the baby outgrows the smallest position of the safety harness (usually around 8 weeks) the support pillow can be removed. You can continue to use the headhugger for extra comfort of the baby longer. Then when your baby outgrows this headhugger you can also take it out of the car seat entirely. Please consult the manual for a visualisation.

When should my child switch from his first Bébé Confort infant car seat to the next car seat?
We recommend that your child remain in the first car seat, Group 0 or 0+ (0-13 months) i.e. facing backwards, as long as possible because this is the safest and usually the most comfortable position. As long as the back of your child's head is fully supported by the plastic shell, we recommend using the infant car seat. The length of the child’s legs is not an important factor here. It is extremely unwise to put a child into a larger, forward-facing car seat too early.

Why do babies have to travel in a reward facing position?
Babies have a large and heavy head compared to the rest of their body. In addition, their neck muscles are not yet fully developed. If the baby is transported in a forward-facing position, his or her head will be thrown forward in the event of a head-on collision. This can cause serious neck injury and may even be fatal. By placing the baby in a rear-facing position, the forces exerted during the crash will be distributed across the baby’s entire back.
Why is it safer to install the Citi with the Citi.base?
According to European car safety research, around 30% of car seats are installed and used incorectly in the car. For infant carriers, there is several possible misuses: The infant carrier is installed in the wrong way (forward facing instead of rearward facing);  the vehicle belt routing can be wrong;  the vehicule belt can also not be well tight...in all these situations, in case of accidents or strong brake, the baby will not be well protected even if it's installed in the best safety car seat. It's the reason why it's key to correctly install the infant carrier in the car. Using a base will considerably reduce the risk of bad installation of the infant carrier in the car. By cliking the infant carrier on its base, staying in the car, the infant should always be secured properly to offer best safety for the baby in case of accidents. Furthermore, it's also very convenient for daily use, you only have to click the car seat on the base, and install the shoulder belt on the blue belt guide, behind the infant carrier.

Why there is a measuring scale (blue/red label)? How to read it?
This measuring scale is an informative label to help you to know when it could be time to switch from rearward facing to forward facing. In a daily basis, it's not easy to know the exact weight of your growing baby, and you may want to install quickly your child in forward facing because it's easier to see you child, but you should not place a baby before at least 9 kg, and ideally 13 kg in forward facing. The goal of this label is clearly to avoid babies to be installed too early in forward facing position. By adjusting the headrest, you will see if the seat has still to be installed rearward facing (blue color) or can be installed forward facing (red color). Of course, it's an indicator, but you should always check if your child weights at least 9 kg (ideally 13 kg) before installing the seat in forward facing position.
Because it's a swivelling seat, I'm wondering if the seat can come off from its base in case of accidents?
It took a couple of years of R&D research, and a lot of crash tests performed before launching the successfull Axiss swivel car seat. Because it's a swivelling seat, the mechanism has been intensively tested to resist to strong forces. The seat is also attached by a top locking hook which ensure a perfect fixing point between the seat and the base. In addition, The green locking indicator on the top of the seat is always ensuring the seat is connected to the car seat base, so you can drive in total safety. Consequently, the seat can't be dismantled from it base if used as mentioned in the instruction manual.

Do I have to adjust the safety harness each time I place my child in the car seat?

Do I have to desactivate the airbag if I install a group 1 car seats on the front passenger seat ?
The European car seat regulation is not compelling to desactivate the front passenger airbag if we want to install a forward facing car seat like a group 1 or a group 2/3. It only mandatory to desactivate this airbag for the rearward facing car seat only (e.g group 0+). Nevertheless, because of the size and the force of spreading of an airbag which are different from one car to another, and because airbag are design to protect adults and not children, we recommand to also desactivate it for forward facing car seats.
For groups 1 or groups 2/3, should I deactivate the airbag if I install the car seat on the front seat ?

How many sitting and sleeping positions does the Bébé Confort Pearl have?
The Bébé Confort Pearl has five comfortable positions - from a sitting to a sleeping position - and can be easily adjusted from the front.
How tight should I fasten the safety harness system?
Fastening the harness correctly is key to restrain the child well in the car seat. You need to pull the harness adjuster strap until the harness is close the the child's body. If the harness is correctly tight, you should be able to pass only 1 finger between your child's body and the harness strap. The tighther the harness is, the better your child will be restrained and the safer he/she is in case of an accident.
How to ensure a correct Top Tether installation ?
What is key is to always check the Top Tether is correctly tight. An green indicator on the Top Tether is ensuring the correct tension.
To obtain the best tension of the Top Tether, you should look for the shorter routing, going directly from the top of the car seat to the Top Tether hook (often located on the luggage compartment)
We recommend to remove the headrest to avoid deviate the top tether routing from this shorter route, and consequently ensure a very tight installation in any situations.
Installing the top tether in between the headrest or on top of the headrest can deviate his natural routing, and be less efficient in case of impact.
I am unable to adjust the headrest on the Bébé Confort Pearl. What should I do?
The headrest is also used to adjust the height of the shoulder belts. To adjust the headrest, you need to first open the belt buckle, flap it forward, and then loosen the shoulder belts. If you hold down the button behind the grey part of the cover, you can adjust the headrest by moving it up or down.
I can still pull out my car seat belt, which means the car seat can move around. Is this safe?
In the event of a sudden stop or accident, the car seat belt will block automatically and the child car seat will be unmovable as a result. The Bébé Confort Priori XP and Bébé Confort Axiss are all equipped with a tensioner that makes it possible to tighten the car seat belt for a tighter fit and secure the car seat more firmly.
I can still pull out my car seat belt, which means the car seat can move around. Is this safe?
This may happen because the belt buckle is not flapped forward enough. Pushing this forward by hand will release the blockage, so that you can loosen the harnesses.
I cannot recline the Bébé Confort Pearl in the sleeping position because it interferes with the car seat bench. What can I do?
You can disconnect the ISOFIX anchors of the FamilyFix and place the Pearl on it and put it in the sleeping position. Then, reconnect the ISOFIX anchors to the car.
Is it possible to install a car seat (group 0+/1 or group 1) on a Bébé Confort pushchairs ?
Only safety carrycots (group 0: e.g Windoo Plus or Compact safety carrycot) and infant car seats (group 0+: e.g Pebble, CabrioFix, Streety.Fix) can be installed on a Bébé Confort pushchairs. Designed to easily transport comfortably and safely the baby from car to pushchair to home, safety carrycots and infant car seats are very convenient for babies. When baby is growing, he starts to seat well by himself, and it become more and more difficult to carry him in an infant carrier because of the weight. Toddler car seats (group 0+/1 or group 1) are then the ideal solution to travel safely with the growing toddler until 4 years. Of course, as group 0+/1 and group 1 grow with the toddler to always offer him the best protection, the car seat is heavier than an infant carrier, so it's not convenient to daily carry it.
Because we don't want to compromise on safety, comfort and ease of use, group 0+/1 and Group 1 are not compatible with pushchairs.
Is it possible to mount my car seat (Group 1) onto the frame of my pushchair?
This is not possible with our current range of products. Our products are developed with a strong focus on safety, quality and user-friendliness. The combination you are asking about would require that we make concessions to these three aspects. We have decided against making such concessions at this time.
My car has a floor storage compartment that prohibits correct installation of the support leg, what can I do?
We advise you to check the manual of your car and see if any information is provided. Otherwise you can contact your car dealer to assess the available options. It might be possible to place the leg at the bottom of the storage compartment or place the support leg on top of it. Some car brands also sell special storage compartment filling material.
My child can unlock himself from the car seats's harness. What can I do ?
My child climbs out of the belt system on the car seat.
The same principle applies to all car seats and means that your child cannot create extra space if there is no extra space to begin with. Some children have shown us that, with only a minimum of slack in the belt system, they can get a hand between the buckle and their stomach and then, by moving it towards their head, they can get an elbow under the belts – but this requires a very flexible shoulder. These children display a tremendous desire to free themselves from their car seat. Child safety in the car and freedom of movement are not compatible in principle. To transport a child not only safely but also comfortably, a slight amount of slack in the belt system is needed. If the belt is pulled extremely tightly and the child is sitting calmly in the car seat, experience has taught us that all car seats are the same when it comes to 'climbing out of the car seat'. We see a similar pattern in children ages 1-4 years in car seats of various types and from various manufacturers. The belt system is a closed system that keeps the child in the same position continuously - during normal car trips as well as during a sudden stop or accident. This system is closed by securing the child when tightening the belts. If this is done properly, the belts cannot be loosened during use (if this does happen, we ask that you contact our Service Department through the retailer where you bought the product).

The back of the Bébé Confort Pearl knocks against the car headrest. What should I do?
If the car headrest obstructs the proper functioning of the Bébé Confort Pearl, such as when adjusting it into the reclining position, we recommend removing the headrest.
The belts are not the same length. Why is this?
Uneven belts may be caused by the incorrect guiding of the harness system. Check at the back of the car seat that the belts are not twisted and that the pull belt (that runs forward at the bottom of the shell) is in the middle of the system. Also check that the belt can move easily to and fro through the shoulder openings. For smooth movement, the belt buckle should be flapped forward completely. This belt buckle operates by releasing the belt tensioner. If the problem continues after you have checked this, consult your retailer.
The colour indicator switches to silver or red when driving. Is this normal?
The colour indicator is only an installation aid. There is only a difference of a few millimetres between red/green or silver/green. So the colour may change if your child moves. The important thing is that, when you drive off, the belts are tightened properly and the indicator is on green. The indicator is to remind you of this. Naturally it is possible that the indicator switches to red again while driving as a result of your child’s movements. This is normal and has no effect on safety.
The harness belts do not have the same length on the right- and left-hand side. How can this be?
Uneven harness belts length may be caused by an incorrect guidance of the harness system. Please check at the back of the car seat that the harness is not twisted and that the pull belt (that runs forward at the bottom of the shell) is in the middle of the system. Also check that the belt can move easily through the shoulder openings. If the problem continues, please consult your retailer or contact our consumer service.

The harness’ straps are too short. What can I do ?
What is the right position for the headrest ?
The headrest should always be adjusted to the child's head: not too low, not too high. It means the child's head has to be totally protected by the headrest, and should not go over the headrest. The head and the neck are the most fragile part of the body, so it important to always make sure the child's fragile head is always best protected inside the car seat
What is the right position for the headrest of my child car seat?
The child's head has to be totally protected and should not exceed the headrest.
What should I do if my child opens the buckle of his harness belt?
In this case, we recommend, as do all international safety experts, that you stop immediately in a safe place, fasten the buckle once more and tell the child he should not open it and the reason for this. It is always a possibility that an inventive, handy or strong child will open the buckle. If the force required to open the buckle were to be considerably increased to make it impossible for the child to open it himself, this would be contrary to the legal safety standards. The position of the buckle, the colour of the button, and the operating or opening force are all laid down in European standards. In the case of an accident, someone providing assistance without any knowledge of car seats must be able to see immediately how to release the child from a car seat in an emergency.

When can I switch Iséos Neo+ from rearward facing to forward facing ?
According to the car seat regulation, you can use Iséos Neo+ in forward facing position (group 1) from 9kg (around 9 months), but we strongly recommand you to keep your child rearward facing until 13kg (approximatly 15 months) to better protect the baby's fragile head and neck in case of accidents.
When can my child switch from an infant car seat (group 0+) to the Axiss (group 1) ?
According to the child safety regulation R44/04, you can legally start using a group 1 car seat like Axiss from 9kg (approx. 9 months). Then, when the top of his head extend past the top of the infant carrier sheel, and if your baby is weighting more than 9kg (ideal is 13kg), you can now think about installing him in forward facing Axiss.

Then, when the top of his head extend past the top of the infant carrier sheel, and if your baby is weighting more than 9kg (ideal is 13kg), you can now think about installing him in Iséos Isofix.
When can my child switch from an infant seat to the Bébé Confort Rubi?
Make sure your baby’s head is generously protected by the (top of the) car seat. Your baby has outgrown his baby car seat when the top of his ears extend past the top of the car seat shell. Do not switch to the Bébé Confort Rubi until this time and keep you baby rearward facing for as long as possible in order to protect the fragile neck and head. Note: it is not a problem if the child’s legs extend beyond the edge of the seat.
When my child sleeps in this car seat, his head can sometimes leans forward, so I have the feeling it’s not well protected anymore, what can I do ?
When the child is small, the weight of his head is proportionally heavier than the one of an adult. As a result, when asleep in the car seat, it is therefore not unusual that his head leaning forward . This does not affect the safety of your child . In case of strong brake or accidents , his head will naturally be repositioned at the bottom of the headrest, fully protecting his head and neck. However, you may find this situation uncomfortable for your child. To minimize this effect , we recommend you to recline the car seat to the maximum , an /or in the case it’s a rearward facing car seat with a reducer, to keep the reducer cushion as long as possible.
Please note this situation is particularly related to the vehicle seat recline angle . The more the seat of your vehicle is deep (eg bucket seats) , the more this effect is enhanced.  If your vehicle have adjustable backrest angle, we also recommend that you adjust the angle of the vehicle seat to improve your child’s comfort.
When should I go from group 1 to group 2/3 car seat?
We recommend using the Group I car seat (9-18 kg) for as long as possible. Wait to switch your child to a next stage car seat until your child has reached the maximum weight limit or if the top of your child’s head reaches above the top edge of the seat.
When the buckle is open, I can no longer lengthen the harnesses, as if they are stuck. What's the problem?
This may happen because the belt buckle is not flapped forward enough. Pushing this forward by hand will release the blockage, so that you can loosen the harnesses.

Why do baby and young toddler have to travel in rearward facing position ?
Babies have a large and relatively heavy head compared to the rest of their body. In addition, their neck muscles are not yet fully developed. If the baby is travelling in a forward-facing position, his or her head will be thrown forward in the event of a head-on collision. This can cause serious neck injury and may even be fatal. By placing the baby in a rear-facing position, the forces exerted during the crash will be distributed across the baby’s entire back. It then safer to travel rearward facing with babies until at least 15 months.
Why do Bébé Confort group 1 car seats have a 5-point safety harness?
All group 1 car seats by Bébé Confort have a 5-point safety harness with one-pull adjustment. This harness distributes the forces of an impact best over the strong bones of the child and into the seat. Additionally, the 5 point harness allows perfect adjustment of the child and keep him secured in the safest position in the seat.
Would it be better to have a 5 point harness or a bumper bar for a group 1 ?
Are children taller than 1.50 metres required to sit in a child car seat?
No, but they must wear a car seat belt!

Can I also use the RodiFix car seat if my car does not have ISOFIX?
Yes you also use the RodiFix by installing it with your car seat belt only. The ISOFIX connectors have been designed to improve stability, but do not lead to additional safety of your child.
Can I also use the seat of the Rodi AirProtect separately as a booster cushion?
No, we strongly advise to always use both components of the Bébé Confort Rodi AirProtect together: seat + back support. This is the safest and most convenient for your child.
Can I also use the seat of the Rodi SPS separately as a booster cushion?

Can I install the Bébé Confort Streety.fix on the front passenger seat?
Yes, you can install the Bébé Confort Streety.fix on the front passenger seat, but only if the airbag has been deactivated. For extra safety and convenience, you can install the Streety.fix with its belted base (Streety.base).
Can I place 3 car seats in a row on the back seat of my car?
In most cars only 2 child car seats fit on the back seat, due to the ISOFIX connectors or car seat belt positioning. Though in some MPV's (especially those with seperate seats in the back), 3 child car seats may actually fit. The front passenger seat could also serve as a good place to install a third child car seat.
We recommend taking your car to the baby specialist retailer to check this.
Can I replace or inflate the air cushions in the Rodi AirProtect myself?
The air cushions in the Rodi AirProtect are specially developed with shock-absorbent foam inside a perforated air cushion, which means they cannot be inflated. The air cushions cannot be replaced because they are integrated into the car seat.
Can I replace or inflate the air cushions in the RodiFix myself?
The air cushions in the RodiFix head support are specially developed with shock-absorbent foam inside a perforated air cushion, which means they cannot be inflated. The air cushions cannot be replaced by yourself because they are integrated into the car seat.
Can the Bébé Confort Streety.fix be used in an airplane?
No, the Bébé Confort Streety.fix is not approved to be used in an airplane. Only the Bébé Confort Pebble infant carrier has special certification for this purpose (see the sticker on the bottom of the seat).
Can the FamilyFix base be installed in any car?
The FamilyFix can be installed in most cars equipped with the ISOFIX system. There are, however, some exceptions to this. Please consult the “Online Car Fitting List" at www.bebeconfort.com.
Do I have to secure the child car seat with the car seat belt even when my child is not inside?
Yes you should always secure the group 2/3 child car seat by the car seat belt, even when your child is not inside. This is because in case of an accident the seat should also be restrained on the car seat bench.
Does the integrated sun canopy of group 0+ baby car seats provide UV protection?
Yes, the Bébé Confort sun canopy on group 0+ baby car seats is made of black fabric that protects against both sunlight and UV rays.

How can I adjust the head support element of the Rodi SPS?
On the back of the Rodi SPS you will find a clip. If you pull on this clip, you can adjust the height of the headrest and put it back in place to relock it.
How should I clean the car seat?
You can clean the car seat with a vacuum cleaner. You can also blow it clean with compressed air. Any food remains that are stuck to it can be removed using a slightly damp cloth. Make sure that the foam parts do not get wet.
I cannot recline the Bébé Confort RodiFix in the sleeping position because it interferes with the car seat bench. What can I do?
After fastening and adjusting the RODIFIX seat with ISOFIX connectors onto your vehicle’s ISOFIX fastening points, you may encounter difficulties moving it from the lie-flat position to the seated position and vice versa. This inconvenience may be due to your vehicle’s seat type. In this event, please do the following: check that your vehicle’s headrest has been removed, unlock the ISOFIX connectors from the vehicle’s ISOFIX fastening points, adjust to the desired reclining position (seated or lie
flat) and finally relock the ISOFIX connectors.
I dropped my Rodi (SPS, XP, AirProtect) car seat on the ground. Do I have to replace it now?
No, that is not necessary if it was a normal ‘drop’ and not an extremely hard one or from a considerable height. When a car seat is dropped on the ground, it is not subject to the same kinds of forces as are exerted during a (serious) collision. There is therefore no need to replace the car seat.
I have a FamilyFix base and Pearl. Do the next stage car seats Rodi XP or Air Protect fit onto the base?
No, they do not. With Group 2/3 car seats children are secured in the seat using the car seat belt, making it unnecessary to attach the seat to a base.
Is it possible to change the Rodi XP from a sitting to a reclining position with my child in it?
Yes, it is possible to change the position of the Rodi XP from sitting to reclining while your child is in it. But this can be difficult due to your child's weight. When changing the position, the lap belt tightens, which also makes changing positions more difficult.
Is it possible to install a car seat on the front passenger seat?
Although the rear seat of the car is preferable, infant and child car seats can often be placed on the passenger seat as well. An infant car seat for 0-12 months may only be used on the front passenger seat if there is no frontal airbag or if you are sure that it has been deactivated. For car seats for older children (12 months to 12 year), if the front seat is equipped with an airbag, we recommend placing the seat in the rearmost position.
Is it true that it is no longer allowed to use a booster cushion/seat without back support?
Not only Bébé Confort, but also independent consumer organisations like the Dutch Consumers’ Association advise strongly against using a seat booster without back support. Back support is essential, particularly for reasons of side impact protection, though also due to the positioning of the seat belt around the neck and chest. Booster seats and cushions without back support are not yet prohibited, but must comply with the minimum requirements of the ECE R44/03 and ECE R44/04 standards.
May children under the age of 3 be transported in a car without seat belts?
No, children under the age of 3 may not be transported in a car without 3-point safety belts. A car seat is required in cars equipped with a 3-point safety belt.
My baby gets too big for the Streety.fix, what can I do ?
The Streety.fix (group 0+) can be used until 13kg, so until approximatly 12 months, but as all babies are different you may find it too big for the infant carrier before. Before choosing the next car seat, you may be able to extend the use of the Streety.fix by adjust high of the harness in the highest position. If after this adjustement, the top of your baby's head is higher than the top of the car seat shell, you should then look at the next car seat. If you baby weights less than 9kg, we recommand you to choose for a group 0+/1(0-18kg / 0-4y) to extend rearward facing travel up to 13Kg (approximatly 15/18months). From 9kg, you can either choose for a group 1 (9-18Kg / 9m-4y) but we recommand to keep your baby as long as possible in rearward facing position to better protect baby's head & neck.
My car has headrests on the back seat, making it very difficult to install the seat. Is it safe to remove these headrests?
You have two options: 1. You can try to rotate the headrest so that the smooth back side of the headrest supports the car seat. This is the best solution because it still allows you to install the ‘anchor’ between the back section and the headrest on the car seat between the rear seat and headrest of your car. 2. If this is not possible, you can remove the headrest entirely. Safety tests (crash tests) in connection with European standard requirements have also been carried out on a test bench without headrests.
My child sould be in a booster seat until 10 years old or 1,35 m ?
My child's shoulder touch the sides of the Rodi AirProtect. Is the any thing I can do?
In the back of the Rodi AirProtect car seat you can find a silver colored handle to increase the width of the AirProtect.
My child's shoulders touch the sides of the Rodi AirProtect. Is there anything I can do?
In the back of the Rodi AirProtect car seat you can find a silver colored handle to increase the width of the AirProtect.
On which pushchairs can I install the Streety.fix infant carrier ?
The Streety.fix can be installed in all Bébé Confort pushchairs compatible with an infant carrier (New Loola, Loola, Loola Up, Streety Plus, Elea, Mura Plus, High Trek, Mila) You can check the extensive compatibility list on the Bébé Confort website, on the Streety.fix product page.
Should I deactivate the airbag if I install a group 2/3 car seats on the front passenger seat?
If the front passenger seat can be placed in the rearmost position, it is safe to keep the airbag on. Otherwise we recommend to deactivate the passenger airbag also for forward facing car seats. This is because the size and the force of spreading of an airbag are different from one car to another, and because airbags are designed to protect adults and not children.
The seat belt does not retract when my child falls asleep in the Bébé Confort Rodi. What should I do?
The Bébé Confort Rodi XP and AirProtect provide greater sitting comfort and safety for your child. Both the child and the car seat are secured with the seat belt. The Bébé Confort Rodi AirProtect has a reclining position, while the Bébé Confort XP does not. If a child falls asleep and slumps forward, the seat belt will gradually move forward together with the child. This is a feature of automatic belts. If the automatic mechanism does not roll up the belt properly, the third belt point (direction of the automatic mechanism) is probably in an incorrect position, i.e. placed too far forward. The seat belt is then threaded at an almost impossible angle, resulting in too much friction in the belt hook. This situation can occur in some station wagons, for example. For this reason we recommend that you try installing the car seat in your car before purchasing it. Your retailer can help you with this. Note: Always secure a Rodi seat with the belt, even when there is no child sitting in it.
What accessories are available for the Bébé Confort Rodi XP and the Rodi AirProtect?
The following accessories are available for the Bébé Confort Rodi seats: cup holder and summer cover.
What is the difference between single group and multi group car seats?
Single group car seats are designed to perfectly fit to the child's morphology. The seat shape is especially designed to cover only one class of weight, which explains the different shapes according to the group (group 0+ / group 1 / group 2/3). Furthermore, these car seats have additional comfort criterias (like seat important recline), ease of use (like the simple and easy transport for a group 0+), which are rarely proposed by multi-group.  Because they answer to specific needs adapted to the child age, these seats often show best performance in crash tests. Multi group or convertible seats like group 1/2/3 are long lasting car seats that can evolve with the child thanks to adjustable system in height and sometimes in width. It offers a solution for a second car, as well as the one of the grand parents or nanies which often drive with children from different ages. The convertible group 0+/1 can be considered as group 1 which can be used before 9kg. They are ideal for babies that are too big for the infant carrier or the safety carrycot but too small to be installed in a froward facing group 1 (mini 9kg).  A group 0+/1 like MiloFix (ISOFIX) or Opal (belt) enables to travel longer rearward facing, which is better to protect baby's fragile head and neck until at least 13kg (around 15 months).
What is the difference between the Rodi XP produced in the past and the current Rodi XP?
The ‘old’ Rodi XP (produced before 2007) has a Comfort Base that is used to adjust the seat into the reclining position. The ‘updated’ Rodi XP does not have a reclining position, but features a new and improved Side Protection System compared to the ‘old’ Rodi XP.
What is the right position for the headrest of my group 2/3 child car seat?
The child's head has to be totally protected and should not exceed the headrest.
When can my child switch from an infant car seat (group 0+) to the Trianos (group 1/2/3) ?
According to the child safety regulation R44/4, you can legally start using a group 1/2/3 car seat like Trianos from 9kg. It is not a problem if the child's legs extend beyond the edge of the seat. Then, when the top of his head extend past the top of the infant carrier shell, and if your baby is weighting more than 9kg (ideal is 13kg), you can now think about installing him in Trianos.  As most of the long lasting car seat (from 9kg -36Kg), Trianos is not offering comfort recline. Then, we recommand you, for your toddler comfort, to choose for a group 1 seat if you plan to do long travel.
When should I make the transition from a Group I car seat to a Group 2/3 car seat?
For the safety of your child, we recommend using the Group I car seat (9 months to 3 1/2 years/9-18 kg) for as long as possible. Wait to switch your child to a next stage car seat until your child has reached the maximum weight limit or if the top of your child’s head protrudes above the top edge of the seat. As long as the back of your child's head is fully supported by the shell, we advise against making the switch just yet, so that your child can be offered the best possible protection.
Where can I find the integrated sun canopy on the Bébé Confort Pebble?
On the back of the Pebble coming out from the rim you will find two small taps that are attached to the sun canopy. You can pull on these tabs to extract the sun canopy and attach it to the carrying handle.
Why do I need a car seat?
Cars are primarily designed for the transportation of adult statured persons and not for smaller sized children. Therefore children are more vulnerable in accidents and need a car seat to provide extra protection. Besides this, the use of an approved child car seat is required by law for all children up to a height of 1.35 or 1.50 metres depending on the country.
Why does the RodiFix have ISOFIX anchors? What is their function?
The ISOFIX connectors have been designed onto the RodiFix to improve stability of the car seat. This does not lead to additional safety of your child. It is convenient that the RodiFix is always attached to your car chassis, so it is also retained when your child is not in.

My child no longer fits into the carrycot and is still unable to sit independently. What should I do?
Once your child no longer fits in the carrycot, you can use the pushchair seat. This would normally be the case at around 6 months of age. How can I potty-train my baby?
When your child is willing, show them a potty, let them play with it and demonstrate how the ‘big boys and girls’ use it. Then follow these steps:
• Always put the potty in the same place
• While your child is still wearing a nappy, sit them on the potty at specific times of the day to create a habit, for example, before and after naps, and before bath time
• Next, sit your child on the potty at set times without their nappy
• If they ask to sit on the potty, let them do so without their nappy
• Give lots of praise when your child manages to use the potty and they will be encouraged to do so again
• Never tell your child off or get angry if they:
- can’t use the potty
- don’t want to sit on the potty
- they go to the toilet as soon as you put their nappy back on

Learning to use a potty is a gradual process. All will go well if you let your little one progress at their own pace and don’t pressure them. Remember that children sometimes regress, but don’t worry as they’ll soon get back on track again.
As a general rule, most children are potty trained during the day at 28 months and at night at 36 months.

Should I leave the thermometer to float throughout the time that baby is in the bath?
Yes, the thermometer presents no danger to your child and, what's more, it will enable you to check the temperature at any time.
Some precautions to take when bathing your baby...

• Never leave a baby alone in the bathtub, even for a very short time or in a small amount of water. A baby can drown in just a few centimetres of water. They may also turn on the hot tap or get out of the bathtub and injure themselves.
• Prepare everything you need in advance so you don't have to leave the room to collect something.
• If you have to leave the bathroom, always take your baby with you (wrapped in a towel).
• Before bathing your child, make sure the room is warm enough (22-23°C). If necessary, provide extra bathroom-safe heating installed by a qualified professional.
• It is best to bath your baby in a small amount of water, no higher than the height of their hips or navel.
• Check the water temperature with a bath thermometer before bathing your baby. The correct temperature is 35°C.
• Turn on the cold tap before the hot tap and never put your baby in the water before stirring it to make sure the temperature is even throughout.
• Run some cold water over the hot tap after filling your baby's bathtub to cool it down.
• Use a non-slip bath mat as soon as your baby can sit upright.
• Remember to empty and wash bath toys after each use to ensure hygiene
What equipment do I need for my baby's bath ?
In the first few months, you will have to change your baby four to six times a day. It's a full-time job, but with a bit of practice and the right equipment, you will soon become a confident expert ! Here are a few hints and tips:

• Make the most of bath time! Baby will love splashing in the water and will greatly enjoy this special time with you. It’s often a time of intense communication and learning, giving baby the chance to interact closely with you while playing and discovering their own body.
• Choose equipment that is comfortable and safe for baby and convenient and easy for you.
• Remember to select equipment that is suitable for your baby's age and the space you have available.
• Give your baby some fun toys to play with. Babies particularly love toys that float, spurt water, fill up with water or move on their own. Don’t provide too many toys at once as this can be confusing.
• Bathtub storage nets are the ideal solution for drying and storing baby’s bath toys.
• At the end of the day, bathing will also help your baby to relax and sleep peacefully.
What is the ideal temperature for my baby’s bath water?
Before putting your child in the bath, it’s vital to check the temperature of the water to avoid any risk of scalding:

• Use a bath thermometer to check that the water temperature is around 35°C – bath water should be slightly below body temperature.
Also check the room temperature, which should be 22° to prevent your child catching cold.

After repeated use, the closing clip on your blue Easy Clip may turn white at the sides. Don't worry! This discolouration in no way means the clip has weakened. The plastic material is intended for repeated use and its flexibility means it won't break.
I worry that my baby will open the bottle on his own
If your baby is older and is dextrous enough, he will try to open his Easy Clip bottle! Just remember we have developed a very resistant clip to precisely avoid this kind of problem. However, as with any screw-on bottle top, we will never be able to stop baby trying to imitate mummy and daddy!
The teat of my Easy Clip bottle collapses/becomes squashed when my child is drinking
A teat collapses or becomes squashed when the air control valve (which prevents colic and possetting) does not properly engage. The Easy Clip closing mechanism is designed to avoid this problem. However, the material used for the teat may cause the valve to stick. In this case, simply remove the teat and gently pull on both sides of the valve (on the neck of the teat) to unblock it.

- Avoid introducing solid foods to a baby younger than 4 months

I sometimes find it difficult to close and open the lid
The lid may seem difficult to open and to close, especially when you first try. However, this quickly becomes easy after a few uses. Remember, the hermetic lid has been specially designed to offer some resistance to being opened in order to avoid the following risks:

I want to start giving my baby solid food : any tips ?
In the early days, remember that breast milk or formula milk will still be the basis of your baby’s nutrition.
To help everything go smoothly, a few tips:
• only introduce solid food in one meal per day and on new taste / one new food at a time
• do it  gradually – start with just a couple of mouthfuls
• even if sometimes you see more grimaces than smiles on your baby’s face, persevere and remember every food is a new taste to get used to
• weaning takes around 6 months, so take your time, relax and enjoy introducing your baby to new tastes
• if baby gets impatient and wants more and faster, you’ve cracked it!
• if baby won’t open his mouth don’t worry – he just might not be ready yet. Try to avoid conflicts over feeding and try again later

What are the best first foods for babies?
In the first few days it’s a good idea to start baby on some fruit and vegetables which are naturally sweet. Make sure they’re well-cooked – apples, bananas, peaches, pears, carrots and spinach usually go down well.
Baby rice is also a good first food as it’s milk-based and easy for little tummies to digest.
Don’t feel bad if you don’t have time to prepare homemade food every day – babies have been eating pots for years and they are full of nutrition. Babies also love little yoghurt pots and other dairy products that you can buy from the supermarket.
Remember to give baby regular sips of water with food.

In the meantime, use your own spoon as well to make sure he doesn’t go hungry.

What are the symptoms of teething?
Teething is often a difficult time for both baby and parents. Your child will teethe several times up to the age of two and a half.
The signs of teething vary from child to child, but you may notice that your baby:
• has swollen gums;
• is a little grumpy;
• cries more than usual;
• salivates more than usual;
• has a slight fever (38°);
• has lost their appetite;
• has redness or irritation on the cheeks and/or buttocks;
• isn’t sleeping well.

Fortunately, you can do a lot to soothe your baby just by being there and providing a teething ring. The teething ring can be refrigerated if the pain is intense.
You will then have the delight of seeing your baby’s first tooth when they are about six months old! Teeth usually come in pairs, starting with the front teeth, then the side, and then the back. So your child will experience teething over several months even after the first teeth appear.
When should I replace the soother?
Replace the soother as soon as you see signs of wear and tear on the teat or the ring, or after three months of use.
Which teething ring should I give to my baby?
Answer
Teething rings come in all shapes, sizes and materials to meet your baby’s different needs during the various stages of teething:
• Refrigerated rings help soothe very intense pain. The cold anaesthetises the gum’s sensitive area.
• Rattle rings will appeal to your baby with their colours and shapes. If given one to hold, they will automatically put it in their mouth and soothe their gums.
• Thin, flat rings are particularly suitable when the very first teeth appear because they are light and easy for baby to manage.
• Ring-soothers are ideal for applying soothing gels to baby’s gums.

Our range of expert Bébé Confort Maternity rings has been developed to suit each stage of teething and soothe your baby’s pain as effectively as possible.

The grey button on the front of the Opal HD seems to have no function. Is that right?
Yes, that is true. In the original Opal HD this button is connected to the sides. These where removed to create more leg space. The button has no function at all anymore. It can turn, but it does not set anything in motion.

The difference is that this seat offers plenty of space for little splinted legs, a soft padded seat for cosy comfort and an extra support pillow for younger babies.

The safest way to travel is rearward facing. When your child becomes more than 12-13 kilos it is grown enough to travel forward.
