My baby wants to eat by his own : what type of cutlery does he need ?
Baby’s first spoon should be made of very soft plastic with specially moulded handles to suit small hands. Most of the time the food will land everywhere but his mouth, but it’s all part of the learning process. It won’t be long before he gets the hang of it, and practice makes perfect. In the meantime, use your own spoon as well to make sure he doesn’t go hungry.
